10" x 4.5" Big Blue refillable DI Canister - This canister, installed in a standard 10 inch x 4.5 inch Big Blue housing, is capable of reducing your TDS to near zero.
This sale is for one (1) 10 inch x 4.5 inch refillable canister insert filled with 2 Lbs. of non colored DI (Deionization - Demineralized) mixed bed resin installed. When this DI canister is installed as the final stage (process) of a 4 or 5 or 6 stage Reverse Osmosis system, the 2 lbs. of resin will (on average) process up to 3,500 gallons of water.
Reverse Osmosis units are capable of removing 90% to 98% of the TDS (Total Dissolved Solids). If your water usage requires near zero (0) TDS, this 10" x 4.5" refillable canister will provide the quality of water you are seeking. The clear refillable insert is compatible with RO systems and will polish the water to the highest quality of near zero (0) TDS.
Our web site has a complete housing and refillable canister unit that can be installed between the storage tank and your RO faucet by cutting the 1/4 inch tubing and inserting the tubing into the fitting on each side of the housing. Upgrade your current RO system by installing this unit and reducing your TDS to near zero.
When the color changing DI resin is exhausted, the cap on the canister can be easily removed, the old (spent/depleted) DI resin is removed and new DI can be added to the cartridge. This refillable canister will save you $$$$ compared with DI filter that is a one time throw away cartridge. Replacement DI resin can be purchased here on our web site.
